Celebrate your next big event at Winnie’s Playroom—a bright, modern, and flexible space designed for gathering, connecting, and making memories. Our venue works beautifully for kids’ birthday parties, baby showers, intimate weddings, milestone celebrations, and community events.

Your event includes exclusive use of the space, with customizable layouts, an optional play area for little guests, and seating for up to 100 guests. Tables, chairs, and a dedicated party assistant are included to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

To make hosting even easier (and more fun!), we offer optional add-ons such as themed décor, character visits, and even disco lights ✨🪩—so you can truly make the celebration your own while we help bring it to life.

Conveniently located near Brookfield’s 8 Corners, Winnie’s Playroom proudly serves families from La Grange, Western Springs, Hinsdale, Riverside, and Oak Brook. With ample street parking and a cozy café on-site (yes… there’s coffee ☕️), your guests will enjoy a stress-free and memorable experience.

Private Kids Birthday Party

Enjoy exclusive use of our play space and the freedom to bring your own food and decorations — or choose from our additional services to make your celebration truly unforgettable!

  • Standard Party

    $550

    Includes up to 24 children (ages 0–6) and 32 guests (ages 7+)

  • For events exceeding 32 guests (ages 7+), an additional $200 per 10 guests applies.

    Each 10-guest add-on includes:

    • One 8’ wood farm table

    • White folding wedding chairs

    A maximum of 50 additional guests may be added (up to five farm tables).

    Please note: Adding farm tables will reduce the size of the play area. You may choose not to add additional tables in order to maximize play space; however, the $200 per 10 additional guests fee still applies.

    Additional guests can be added under “Additional Services.”

  • 2-hour party (+30 minutes set up and +15 minutes clean up, 2hr 45 total)

    • Exclusive use of the play area

    • Tables and seating for up to 24 children (ages 0-6) and 32 guests (ages 7+). Extra chairs and tables can be arranged at an additional cost

    • BYO ( Cake, pizza, beverages, snacks and etc)

    • Outside decor allowed (no confetti or glitter please)

FAQs

    • Guests may only park on Broadway Ave and directly in front of the building on Monroe Ave. No parking in nearby residential areas.

    • Hosts are responsible for informing their guests of these parking guidelines in advance and including parking instructions in their event invitations.

    • Unloading: The back area may be used for unloading only.

  • Yes, you are welcome bring your own food during private events.

    Food and beverages are not permitted in the play areas. Please enjoy them in the café area to help keep our space clean and safe for everyone.

    Coffee, frozen treats, and snacks are available for purchase.

    • Grippy (non-slip) socks are required for all children in the play area. Adults must also wear socks in the play area.

      Forgot? Pairs are available at the front desk for $3.

    • Standard Private Kids Party: Hosts may arrive 30 minutes early for setup and have 15 minutes after for cleanup. Extra time may be booked in advance.

    • Private Events for 60-100 guests: Hosts may arrive 60 minutes early for setup and have 30 minutes after for cleanup. Extra time may be booked in advance.

  • Sorry, DJs and live bands are not allowed. Hosts are welcome to use our sound system to play music.

  • Décor is welcome with prior approval (tabletop or free-standing only). No glitter, confetti, balloons with confetti, open flames, or taped décor.

    Hosts are responsible for cleanup and ensuring guests follow playroom rules.

  • Our play areas are designed for children up to 6 years old.

    Older kids are welcome to enjoy the Pac-Man machine and art table, or bring their own activities such as board games. Free wifi available.

  • Hosts must obtain written approval from Winnie’s Playroom before bringing in any outside vendors or entertainment. All approved vendors will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and proof of Workers Compensation Insurance for review and approval in advance of the event.

    Due to safety and space considerations, the following are not permitted:

    • Fire, open flames, sparklers, or heat-producing elements

    • Dry ice, fog, smoke, or bubble machines

    • Glitter, confetti, or similar small particles

    • Large inflatables, bounce houses, or oversized props not provided by Winnie’s Playroom

    • Live animals

    • Loud amplified performances, DJs, or bands

    • Any materials or activities that may pose a safety risk, trigger allergies, or cause damage to the space

    Winnie’s Playroom reserves the right to refuse entry to any unapproved vendors or entertainment.

  • Yes, tables and chairs are included. Our standard event setup includes eight 32” round tables with 32 chairs, as well as three kids’ tables that seat up to 24 children.

    Additional 8’x40” wood farm tables and white folding wedding chairs are available to rent at an added charge.
